UCA Fees & Finance Guide
To serve and support the UCA’s operational remit of providing a complete picture of the financial options available to current and prospective students, we came onboard to advise how best to design, communicate and present this, from what had previously been a disparate and overwhelming slick of impenetrable data.
As one of Europe’s foremost Creative Arts Universities, UCA attracts a considerable number of talented students from a wide variety of countries and backgrounds, and therefore goes to great efforts to ensure its literature and materials are designed to be as clear, accessible and informative as possible to readers of every ability. Also, every element on every touchpoint it creates must be questioned and considered and must ultimately reflect UCA’s renowned heritage for – and direct role in – creating tomorrow’s artists, designers and creative practitioners.
With these factors in place, we designed a guide that presented the complete picture over 32 well-considered pages using sticky and digestible blasts of easy-to-understand information. We designed the piece to be as universally accessible and quietly robust as possible. The piece could be read as a printed paper brochure or as an interactive scrollable pdf on a mobile device too.
The result was a colourful and engaging touchpoint that presented a comprehensive and sizable portrayal of the fiscal optionscape available to students, in a creative and well-considered way consistent with the highest aims of the UCA brand.
